Dr. Brian Hartman

I was born in Indiana and spent time in Virginia and New Jersey before returning to home for high school and eventually my career. I am married and have two boys.

I practice Emergency Medicine full time in Indianapolis and enjoy the fast-paced action of the ER. I have a short attention span which lends itself to the rapid fire shifts in the ER. My clinical experiences influence my writing in many ways. I try to give my readers a first-hand view of life in the ER, as well as the behind-the-scenes emotions that doctors, nurses, and all staff feel throughout the day.

I have several books started and hope to publish my first novel in 2021. The book is called Redemption and stars lead character Bryce Chapman. This book is the first in a series of novels centered around the life of Bryce.

I am also working on a short story compilation and will post several full length stories here, with excerpts of the rest.
